Membership Types
Monthly Recurring
ADULT
- 1 month membership with recurring billing.
STUDENT / MILITARY
- Students ages 11+ who are currently enrolled. Members of the military with current ID. 1 month membership with reoccurring billing.
YOUTH
- Youth ages 4-10. 1 month membership with recurring billing.
FAMILY
- Two people + $35 for each additional member. Family members can be adult couples, siblings (18 + under), or parent/child, residing at same address. 1 month membership with recurring billing.
Monthly Recurring Membership Details:
You can sign up at anytime! Your first month will be prorated based on when you purchase. Monthly recurring memberships are then billed on the 1st of each month.
There is a one-time startup fee of $60 applied to your membership purchase.
Rental Gear Add-on:
To save you money and make your visits to High Steppe more streamline we offer a Rental Gear Add-on for our Monthly Members. You can bundle equipment rentals, shoes and harness, with your monthly membership dues. The Rental Gear Add-on is $15/month per person on the membership account. You can pick and choose who you want to add and can switch it up at any time. This grants you unlimited access to our rental equipment.

Discounts:
Members receive a 10% discount on climbing courses and retail purchases.
We offer a variety of events and friendly competitions throughout the year, many of which are free to members.
Top Rope Belay Instruction:
Join us for a free Top Rope course. Our instructor will teach you everything you need to know to use a harness, tie-in, and belay a partner. Participants must be 12 years old or older. Courses are offered regularly. Check the HSCC calendar(opens in new tab) - sign up online or register at the front desk.
Guess Passes:
Members receive one free guest pass per month to share with friends and family. Members can bring anyone as a guest, even people who have climbed at High Steppe before. Any individual can only be a guest once in a calendar month, and guests who do not own their own climbing gear will be responsible for renting what they need during their visit.
Adult, student/military, youth, and family membership types receive one (1) free guest passes per month, applied to the primary person on the account. These are non-transferable and cannot be sold. Passes do not roll over. They are valid with active monthly or annual prepaid memberships.

Need to make a change to your membership? You can now manage your information in our customer portal. Update your billing information, request to freeze or unfreeze your monthly membership, or add additional family members to your account.
Waiver
Before your first visit, please watch the orientation video and sign the waiver. All climbers and visitors entering the climbing area of the facility must have a waiver on file.
Minors must have a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
