Running eight weeks long and meeting three times per week, this session develops climbing-skill, physical fitness, and mental self-awareness. Participants can expect to train footwork, body positioning, and advanced movement. Practices will include workouts to build strength, power, and flexibility, and climbing-based drills that develop technique. This program also teaches the hard-skills of tying the figure eight knot, top rope belaying, lead climbing, and lead belaying. Thirdly, this program trains participants to hone their focus by developing a performance mindset. All instruction is tailored to the particular individuals involved; no prior climbing experience is required.
