This eight-week session will improve participants’ climbing in three different areas: participants will learn new climbing skills and techniques, they will increase their fitness, and they will learn to take action with focus and intentionality. Participants can expect to learn top rope belaying and lead climbing, and will also have the opportunity to follow a carefully designed training program that will dramatically increase their strength, power, and flexibility. Additionally, this course will show participants how to use their active mind with intention, increasing focus, awareness, and the ability to commit to a difficult task. All of these skills and techniques will be learned in a fun environment through drills, games, and friendly challenges. The focus of this program is improving your climbing. The method is fun! No prior climbing experience needed.
